1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading or using Barefoot Buckets, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

2. License to Use
Barefoot Buckets and all related intellectual property, including design, code, bucket concepts, icons, and branding, are owned by thinkthx.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes.

You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, sell, rent, lease, redistribute, or create derivative works from the app, except to the extent permitted by law.

Apps from the App Store are licensed, not sold. Your use may also be subject to Apple’s standard EULA unless you are shown a custom EULA. 

3. Payments
Barefoot Buckets does not offer subscriptions.

If Barefoot Buckets is offered as a paid download, payment is processed by Apple through your Apple Account. Any refund requests must be made directly through Apple via Report a Problem. 

4. Your Responsibilities
You agree not to:

• use the app for any unlawful, harmful, or abusive purpose

• attempt to interfere with the app’s operation or security

• misuse the app in a way that could damage, disable, or impair it

• misrepresent the app’s outputs as financial advice, professional guidance, or guarantees

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter (such as income amounts, bucket settings, and items).

5. Disclaimers
Barefoot Buckets is a calculator and planning tool only. It does not provide financial advice, financial product recommendations, tax advice, or investment advice.

Any examples, bucket suggestions, or calculations are provided for general budgeting guidance and convenience only. You should consider your personal circumstances and, if needed, seek independent professional advice.

6. Data, iCloud, and Devices
Barefoot Buckets is designed so your plan data stays on your device. If you enable iCloud, your data may sync across your devices using Apple iCloud under your Apple Account.

We do not operate servers that store your plan data and we do not have access to your plan data.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, thinkthx is not liable for any damages, losses, or consequences resulting from your use of Barefoot Buckets, including decisions made based on the app’s calculations or outputs.

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantees or rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded. 

8. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the app if you materially breach these terms. You may stop using the app at any time by deleting it.

9. Governing Law
These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of Australia. If you live outside Australia, you may also have rights under your local laws.

10. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page and/or within the app.
