1. Information We Collect

• Speech Input: Your spoken reflections are transcribed into text on your iPhone using Apple’s on-device speech recognition. Voice recordings are discarded immediately after conversion.

• Reflections & Mood Orbs: Your text entries and visual “mood orbs” are stored on your device and/or in your iCloud account. We do not collect, access, or store this information.

• App Analytics: We receive only the anonymous, aggregated analytics provided by Apple for all iOS apps (e.g., crash reports, usage statistics).

2. How We Use Information

• To generate your daily mood orbs from your reflections.

• To sync your entries across your devices via iCloud (if enabled).

• To understand and improve app performance through Apple’s anonymous analytics.

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or data selling.

3. Data Retention and Control

• Your reflections and mood orbs remain in your iCloud account and/or on your device until you delete them.

• We do not store copies and cannot access your data.

• You can delete your entries or remove the app at any time to remove data from your device.

4. Data Sharing

• We do not share your personal data with third parties.

• Synchronization relies only on Apple’s iCloud service, subject to Apple’s privacy and security practices.

• No third-party SDKs or tracking tools are used.

5. Security

• All data is processed and stored using your device’s and iCloud’s built-in protections.

• We do not apply additional encryption beyond what Apple provides.

6. Children’s Privacy

• Moods is not intended for children under the age of 13. If you are under 13, please do not use the App.

7. Geographic Scope

Moods is available in Australia, Canada, and the United States. Depending on your location, local privacy laws such as GDPR or CCPA may apply.

• Moods is not a medical device. Any reflections or insights are for personal use only and should not be considered medical or psychological advice. Please seek professional support if you have mental health concerns.

9. Your Rights

• You control your reflections and mood orbs stored on your device/iCloud.

• You may delete them at any time.
